Activities

The Royal Historical Society of Queensland is well-known for its Welsby Library, Museum, conferences, lectures and special occasions such as Queensland Day 6 June and Proclamation Day 10 December. Our headquarters, the Commissariat Store at 115 William Street, Brisbane is open from 10 am to 4 pm Tuesdays to Fridays. On Thursdays we open from 10 am to 4 pm and Hon Research Officers are available to assist researchers, and at other times by arrangement. There are monthly Wednesday lunch time and Thursday evening lectures. We also hold conferences, social functions and special lectures from time to time, and these activities are advertised in the Bulletin and on the RHSQ's Activities web pages.
